After the Chilika Lake, this lake is the second largest brackish water lake in India. Pulicat lake is spread over the 759 sq km area and regarded as the second largest brackish water reservoir in India.
Penna River:
Penna River is the beautiful river of Southern India. This river is also known as the Penner, Pennar, Uttara Pinakini and Pennure. The Penna river originates in the Nandi Hills in Chikballapur District of Karnataka. Penna river has numerous sources and mouths, and the primary river begins in Nandi hills.
