Medak Telangana

Medak is a town in Medak region of the Indian province of Telangana. It is a region and the home office of Medak mandal in Medak income division. Medak region was framed in the year 1953. It is spread over a territory of 22.00 km2 (8.49 sq mi). Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is a woodland and natural life haven named for the adjacent Pocharam Lake. Medak Cathedral sees over the Diocese of Medak, the single biggest bishopric in Asia. Medak Fort is a mainstream vacation spot. The stronghold was initially built by the Kakatiya rulers and later created by the Qutb Shahi lords. Old sanctuary of Kuchadri Venkateshwara Swamy at Kuchanpally is an adjacent Hindu love focus.

Medak Fort:

The house of God controls the Diocese of Medak, which is the second biggest on the planet and the single biggest bishopric in Asia.

Nizam Sagar Dam:

The Nizam Sagar Dam is worked over the Manjira River, a tributary of River Godavari. The dam can be drawn nearer through a motorable street, along the stream bowl.

Pocharam Reservoir Medak:

The Pocharam Reservoir, otherwise called the Pocharam Dam Reservoir, is situated around 14.6 km from the downtown area of Medak. The repository was built in the vicinity of 1916 and 1922 over the Allair River, a tributary of the Manjira River.

Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary:

The Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the shores of the Pocharam Lake. Spreading over a range of around 130 sq km, this haven covers areas of Nizamabad and Medak regions. The haven, having southern tropical blended dry deciduous backwoods, gives common living space to five types of pronghorn and deer.

Shri Saraswathi Skshtramu:

Shri Saraswathi Skshtramu is a well known Hindu sanctuary committed to Goddess Saraswathi. The sanctuary is situated in the city of Ananthasagar in Siddipet division. This sanctuary was developed by Sri Astakala Narasimha Rama Sharma.

Siddipet Medak:

Siddipet, a town in the Medak District, is prestigious for its antiquated religious attractions like sanctuaries, mosques and houses of worship and additionally chronicled landmarks like Lal Kaman and Burj. The Yerra Cheruvu and Komati Cheruvu, tributaries of the Manjira River, move through the district.
