Churu is the small city situated at the edge of the Thar desert in Rajasthan. This beautiful city is also named as the gateway of the Thar desert. Churu city was founded by the Chuharu Jat in the year of 1620 AD, after his name the city is named as the Churu city. This city is the Oasis and nestled in the midst of the wandering Golden sand dunes of the Thar desert. There are many famous tourist attractions for tourists because of its uni architecture; some of the major tourist’s attractions are Kanhaiya Lal Bagla and Suarana. Churu city is nestled in the historic Shekhawati area in northern Rajasthan.

Sethani Ka Johara:


Sethani Ka Johara is one of the perfect attraction to visit in Churu city. In the year of 1956, the Sethani Ka Johara was made by the widow of Bhagwan Das Bagla, when the area faced a terrible famine. This water reservoir is 3 km away from the Ratangarh. Nowadays the water reservoir attracts several animals and birds.

Tal Chhapar Sanctuary:


Tal Chhapar Sanctuary, one of the amazing sanctuary is situated in Churu region in the Rajasthan state of India. This beautiful sanctuary is spread across the 719 hectares of land area. In the year of 1962, this land was declared a reserved land. Tal Chappar sanctuary has a unique eco-system surrounded by the lush green vegetation. Kanhaiyalal Bagla Haveli Desert:

This Haveli is established in the approximate year of 1880, the haveli speaks to the finest cross-section work and design styles in the entire Shekhawati area. Aath Kambh Chhatri:


Aath Kambh Chhatri is an amazing building having the eight pillars. This dome was erected on the plot of Rajput’s cremation ground in the year of 1776 AD. Aath Kambh Chhaatri is situated to the west of the vegetable market in Churu, Rajasthan. The interior of this dome is covered by the stone-carved paintings and murals. Raghunathji Mandir:

Churu Fort:


Churu Fort is the most amazing place to visit in Churu city. This enchanting fort was established by the Thakur Kushal Singh in 1649 AD. This fort is nestled 57 km away from the Mandwa. In the year of 1814, this fort is attacked by the Surat Singh of the Bikaner. Later the Shiv Singh erected Gopinath Temple inside this amazing fort.
