Devidhar Mandi Himachal Pradesh is a captivating destination in Jyuni valley. Devidhar is surrounded by dense forests of Devdar and massive green grounds. There’s also an amazing temple of Musdasan Mata, which is surrounded by deodar trees. It is home to a beautiful forest.
Devidhar, a village in Gohar Block in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located in the Jyuni valley above Chail Chowk, at a distance of 17 km. It is approximately 56 km from Mandi. This destination is located in the rural Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh and one of 334 villages in the Gohar Block of Mandi.
Devidhar is also home to two trekking routes, “Shikari Devi Treks”, and “Kamrunaag”. The destination boasts stunning natural beauty with dense green fields, meadows, and dense deodar forests. This village is located at 7800 feet above sea level and is the last village in Jyuni valley. This destination is visited by a large number of tourists every year for weekends.

Many water-run floor houses, known as “Gharat,” can be found here. Devidhar is a small temple with only 10 houses. There is no hotel till date; only guest houses are available here; however, this destination is real Himalayan heaven for adventure lovers; when they reach here, they forget about another crowded hill state. Other adventure activities include camping and bike tours. You can start your bike tour from Mandi or Sundarnagar by taking the Chail Chowk route. After that, it is possible to travel up to Shalla village.
Many spots in Devidhar Mandi HP are ideal for camping. If promoted, Devidhar can also be used for Jungle Safari. The entire area is under Shikari Devi Sanctuary, which is home to many species of wildlife and herbs.
A small rivulet Jauni Valley tributary to river Beas that flows down from the mountains through Devidarh. This valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas. It has fertile land and stunning views.
There is also a good possibility for river crossing, camping and rock climbing, fish angling and other activities. All the fauna and flora of the area are protected under Shikari devi Wildlife Sanctuary. Nature lovers and hikers are welcome to explore this beautiful destination. You will also find many picnic spots throughout the region.

Devidhar comprises the amazing guest house. A few guest houses are available, as well as a forest resthouse. Camping is a great option for anyone who wants to spend an overnight stay. To find hotels or other accommodation, one must travel to Chailchowk and Mandi.
Food: There is only one shop that offers food till date or takes food items along with you as there are almost no restaurants after Chailchow or get back to Chailchowk for food.
Best Time to Visit Devidhar
Devidarh’s climate is cool throughout the year. There is heavy snowfall in December and January. The temperature ranges from -7 to 30°C throughout the year. Summer is the best time to visit Devidhar and explore it.
How to Reach

By Road:- Although there is road connectivity to Devidarh, the road condition after Jachh village is not so good. Regular buses run up to Jahal village (5km) from Devidhar. You can hire a taxi for a smooth ride.
By Train – The nearest railway station to Shimla (Narrow Guage) and Kiratpur Shaib(Broad gauge). After that, buses or taxis can be used.
By Air – The nearest airport is Bhunter (Kullu), then you can take a taxi or bus to Devidhar.

Prashar Lake:- This lake is situated at an average elevation of 2730m in a valley of mountains. The lake is deep blue and lies in a valley with a saucer shape. It is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Prashar lake is a well-kept secret in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh. The trek follows a captivating trail through a forest and many rivulets.
Rewalsar Lake – This lake, also known as Tso Pema Lotus Lake, is located 22.5km South-West of Mandi. It is a sacred place for Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus. Rewalsar’s natural lake is known for its floating reed island and fishes.
Barot – This picturesque picnic spot is located 33km from Mandi along the Mandi–Pathankot Highway. The area is known for its trout fishing and ropeway, which draws a large number of tourists. Barot also serves as a gateway to Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary, which covers 278 sq km.
