  • The closest airport to the beach is the MOPA (Manohar International Airport), which is 26.6 km from the beach and can be covered by taxi. 
  • The second airport is Goa International Airport (Dubolim), which lies at a distance of 52.8 km from the beach. You can take a taxi from here. 

2. Through Railway

  • Railways are the most affordable transport in India. The nearest rail network is just 15.2 km away from the beach. Another railway station is at 24.5 km from the beach. The distance may look long, but it is enjoyable with a taxi ride and the natural coconut water of Goa. 

3. Through Bus

  • You can take bus rides that regularly run from the villages of Goa to Mandrem Beach. For instance, if you take a bus to Mupasa or Pernem, you will get another bus or a taxi that will take you directly to the beach. 

4. Highway Route

  • The direct highway connecting the road to the beach is NH66. You can reach Pernem Junction directly via NH66. From there, take any bus, taxi, or rickshaw that will take you to the Mandrem beach in 15 to 20 minutes.

The beach is always open, but there are certain limitations that hinder travelling, such as heavy rainfall conditions and others. These months are winter in many states of India, but here the maximum temperature lies between 31 °C to 32 °C in daytime and 19 °C to 25 °C at night.

  • If you are a ‘good morning notification’ to yourself, you may love to spend some time doing meditation, Yoga, or mindfulness. You can join others as well at the Yoga retreat, the beach resort, or Mandrem Ashram. 
  • You can enjoy water activities such as jet skiing, banana boat rides, and parasailing. Another alluring activity is seeing dolphins and other aquatic life through deep diving. 
  • Fishing is another tourist’s favourite activity to do here. You can catch fish, including kingfish, tuna, mackerel, and barracuda. 
  • The local market is famous for souvenirs, local handicrafts, airy clothes, and a variety of jewelry that travelers find lovely. 
  • There are three more nearby beaches, including Ashwem, Arambol, and Morjim beach, which are known for several water sports, hippie culture, music, and dance activities. It will show a distinct nightlife and make you fall in love with the local flora and fauna. 
  • Tiracol Fort was a military base and a prison, situated 12 km from Mandrem Beach. It was built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. You can also see old canons here and scenic views of the Arabian Sea and the Tiracol River.
