The lovely Prashar Lake is spotted high in the mountains. It is here that the sage Prashar is said to have contemplated. On the lake’s edge is a three storied Pagoda-like sanctuary devoted to the sage.Topped with a top of slate tiles, the sanctuary has an abundance of wood carvings. An old sanctuary, it is said to have been constructed by Raja Ban Sen of Mandi in the fourteenth century. A whole scene of blanketed mountain extents is noticeable from this area.
